Saying "Bless You" to strangers

Stranger's reactions when I say bless you after they've sneezed are so delightful. Most are pleasantly surprised. It's an easy way to give a little kindness, but it's also really fun. The bulk of these interactions tend to happen on the subway, but one time, my kids and I were waiting for a bus when someone on their terrace, not visible to us, sneezed. I yelled, "BLESS YOU" into the NYC abyss and got a "OH WOW, THANKS SO MUCH!" back. My kids could not stop laughing, but it made my day.
