Ragnar Kjartansson: The Visitors (2012)

This is NOT on view, but if it ever comes your way, don't miss it. When I first saw this at The Broad, I filed it in my brain under "art that made me cry" and waited about a decade to see it again (I set a Google alert!) last winter at SFMoMA, this time with my kids. It is a nine-channel/screen installation that you can experience lying on the floor.
